Walnut square butt grips. Estimated production of 8,000. CONDITI0N: faded gray metal shows dents. Weak, partially visible cyl scene. Grips show heavy wear and marks. Left panel is chipped at the toe. Sound mechanics. Dark pitted bore. 2) “New Model” Root style pocket. Cal. 28. S# 188. 3 1/2” octagon bbl. with bead sight. Round 5 shot cylinder. Iron frame with center mounted hammer & spur trigger. Square butt walnut grips. Mfg. 1860-1867. CONDITION: metal has a brown appearance. Grips show areas of peeling finish with a large chip at the toe of the right panel. Dark pitted bore. (01-28866/DS).
